Foley, Baron & Metzger, PLLC and The Juip Richtarcik Law Firm announced the combination of their practices to form Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip, PLLC (FBMJ) effective January 1, 2013. The new full-service law firm based in Livonia, Michigan, will have 18 attorneys servicing clients in a broad range of practice areas. Randall A. Juip, joins the new firm as a Member, and brings with him a staff of four attorneys: Brian J. Richtarcik, Anthony D. Pignotti, Matthew H. Wesorick and Mark G. Reynolds. Also joining the firm as a Principal is attorney Cathy Bowerman who will continue to counsel clients in the areas of medical malpractice actions and health care law. Both Juip and Bowerman carry Martindale-Hubbell’s “A-V” rating.

FBMJ will continue its state and national practice, with a strong focus on civil litigation, including medical and professional defense, healthcare law, environmental and toxic tort, products and commercial liability, civil rights (42 USC 1983) / deliberate indifference claims, class actions and appeals. Further, FBMJ provides services for clients in pharmacy law, corporate and business matters, insurance defense, estate planning and more. 

The new FBMJ firm will operate from FBM’s main office in Livonia, Michigan.
