Before joining Foley, Baron, Metzger and Juip, Nicole worked at a law firm in Troy specializing in insurance defense work. She worked with the motor vehicle litigation and property, fire and casualty groups.
While in law school, Nicole was the Executive Director of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, and a competitor for one of the Moot Court national teams competing in a children and adoption law category. In addition, she was a Junior Member of Law Review, a student attorney for the State Appellate Defenders Office clinic and received a Dean’s Scholarship.
During law school, Nicole clerked at two local law firms that focused on insurance defense litigation. She was also a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Mona K. Majzoub in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Nicole currently volunteers to judge internal Moot Court competitions at University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law. She is a member of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Nicole enjoys all sorts of sports – she participated in varsity volleyball, swimming and tennis while in school, and today enjoys weight training and aerobic activities (she is currently training to run a half marathon). Nicole also enjoys hiking, particularly the awe-inspiring waterfall hikes in Yosemite National Forest, where she experienced one of the most exciting and magnificent adventures of her life.
Nicole’s artistic side includes her love for music and theater. She participated in an award-winning competitive a cappella group and musical theater while in school.
