Before joining Foley, Baron, Metzger and Juip, Catherine gained experience at two metro-Detroit law firms where she specialized in first-party no-fault insurance litigation.
While in law school, Catherine completed a concentration in Health Law and Policy and was the President of the Health Law Society and a Board Member of the Women’s Law Caucus. In addition, she was a legal intern for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program and AMN Healthcare, Inc., in San Diego, CA. She gained experience in a variety of legal areas, including HIPAA, FCRA, ICRAA, employee non-compete agreements, bankruptcy, contracts, statutory licensing requirements, and SEC regulations.
Catherine’s pre-law school experience includes working as a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings.
In her downtime, Catherine enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as doing DIY home renovation projects. She recently gutted a local condominium and total refurbished the interior. She now calls this project, “home,” and can’t thank her mother enough for all of the love and support she received, not to mention the manual labor, during this DIY project!
