Catherine is a Senior Associate Attorney with the firm. Her work includes defending healthcare professionals and organizations in complex medical-malpractice claims. She also represents and defends healthcare providers in county jails and state prisons in civil rights claims pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §1983. Additionally, Catherine represents healthcare providers in various regulatory matters including licensing issues, compliance audits, healthcare related agreements, and other health law issues.

Before joining Foley, Baron, Metzger and Juip, Catherine practiced at two metro-Detroit law firms where she specialized in first-party no-fault insurance litigation. While in law school, Catherine completed a concentration in Health Law and Policy and was the President of the Health Law Society and a Board Member of the Women’s Law Caucus. Catherine’s pre-law school experience includes working as a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings.

Catherine was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Michigan Super Lawyers in 2023 and 2024.
