Silvia Mansoor Elected Vice-Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan Board of Commissioners
Congratulations to FBMJ attorney, Silvia A. Mansoor, who was elected as the Chair-Elect of the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section this past weekend. By virtue of her election, Silvia also holds a seat with the State Bar of Michigan Board of Commissioners.
Founded in 1940, the Young Lawyers Section is the oldest and one of the largest sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Upon admission to practice in Michigan, attorneys automatically become members of the Young Lawyers Section until their 36th birthday or 5 years in practice, whichever is longer. The Young Lawyers Section is comprised of three districts that represent the entirety of the young lawyers in the state, regularly carries out legal and public-facing events, and provides a great environment into leadership within the community. Silvia has been an active member of the Young Lawyers Section since about 2017.
CONGRATULATIONS, SILVIA!
