Joseph McGill Presents to SBM Probate & Estate Planning Section

FBMJ attorney Joseph McGill presented at the State Bar of Michigan’s (SBM) Probate and Estate Planning Section meeting held on October 14, 2017 in Lansing, MI.  McGill, who is a member of the SBM Board of Commissioners, serves as its liaison to the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the SBM.  He spoke about the Commission’s role in supporting the mission of the Section on issues of access to justice and improvement of the functioning of the courts throughout the State of Michigan.

The mission of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the SBM is to enhance and improve the practice and administration of law pertaining to probate, trust and estate planning and administration, guardianships and conservatorships (including plaining alternatives), and tax planning.  The Section’s Council is staffed by some of the leading practitioners of probate and estate planning law in the State of Michigan.
