In addition, he has served as counsel in physician staff privilege claims, medical malpractice actions for hospitals and physicians, managed care litigation, pharmacy benefit manager litigation, and insurance coverage disputes. He also has experience in commercial litigation, general liability claims, corporate healthcare claims, and civil rights, 42 USC 1983 defense litigation focusing on health care in county jails and state prisons. He has conducted numerous trials in both state and federal courts.
Clyde carries Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rating and was named a Michigan Super Lawyer yearly since 2008. He is a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association, the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management (MSHRM), the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and was past president of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Attorneys.
He is passionate about good food and wine, and enjoys cooking for family and friends, particularly his favorite Italian recipes gathered from his travels. He has been taking Italian language classes with hopes of being able to spent time there conversing with native speakers. He, also, has some fluency in the German language. Clyde is a devoted Michigan Wolverine fan, and can be found most weekends in the fall and winter adorned in maize and blue at Michigan Stadium or at Michigan’s Hockey Arena.
