Sarah began her legal career in medical malpractice and later expanded her practice to include personal injury and business litigation before returning to medical malpractice defense. That range of experience gives her a well-rounded understanding of litigation from multiple perspectives.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2023, graduating in the top 10% of her class. In law school she was named to the Dean’s List and as a Dean’s Scholar, received Book Awards in Contracts I, Professional Responsibility, and Access to Justice, and served as a junior member of both the Law Review and Moot Court. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a minor in English, with high distinction from the University of Michigan–Dearborn in 2020, where she served as Student Body President and Treasurer.
Sarah is the author of “To Be Loved or To Be Healthy: A Disabled Individual’s Conundrum of Choosing Between Marrying Someone They Love or Continuing to Receive the Health Resources They Need,” published in the UCLA Disability Law Journal (2024). She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
