Carole Empey Recognized in Class of 2024 “Influential Women Of Law” By Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Previously known as “Women in the Law,” this award honors women attorneys and judges in Michigan for their excellent work on behalf of the justice system and for their clients, their commitment to their communities, and their service to the profession.
Empey has successfully represented clients in complex civil litigation matters through her balanced approach for over 25 years. From individuals to Fortune 500 companies, Empey aggressively defends her clients in medical malpractice claims, corporate healthcare matters, products liability litigation, general liability, construction litigation, insurance coverage disputes, managed care litigation, and physician staff privilege claims.
Carole gives back to the legal profession as an active member of Washtenaw County Bar Association, the Michigan State Bar, and Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. She has also served in leadership roles in the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management (MSHRM).
