Judy is also experienced representing defendants in Michigan Department of Civil Rights complaints. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced as an appellate attorney in the Research Division of the Michigan Court of Appeals. She has considerable experience in preparing challenges to plaintiffs’ claims on all Tort Reform issues. She is a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and the Appellate section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Judy has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer since 2011. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Judy was a Certified Court Reporter and adjunct instructor at Oakland Community College.
Judy also loves exploring the American byways – she may know every hotel with a pool within a 500-mile radius! International travel inspires Judy too. She recently travelled to the island of St. Lucia where she found herself whizzing over a tropical forest on a zip line – an experience that she will not soon forget (or repeat)! Judy’s other loves include reading, her book club and travelling with actual grownups.
