Prior to joining the Firm, Juliana worked at a large litigation firm in Detroit, where she gained significant experience in all phases of medical malpractice litigation. She has additional experience litigating contract and employment disputes, and has practiced family law.
She has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children in Oakland County. In this pro bono role, she has advocated to legal and social child welfare professionals, educators, and judges on behalf of children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.
She is also a longtime vegan and enjoys finding creative ways to eat well without harming the environment or other living beings.
When she is not doing any of the above, you will likely find her with her nose in a book or learning to play the guitar. She rarely turns on the television.
