Rob’s practice includes litigation of complex commercial issues. He has litigated a wide variety of matters including breach of contract, supply chain, product warranty, Lemon Law, antitrust, product liability, construction, premises liability, UCC, intellectual property, securities and employment. He has handled matters involving many different product types including, automotive, industrial, watercraft, household appliances, medical devices, drugs, asbestos, and chemicals. In addition, he has expertise in safety and regulatory reporting, product recalls and has represented clients in their interactions with various governmental agencies including DOJ, NHTSA, EPA, CPSC, and SEC. Rob has also assisted clients with the development and implementation of cybersecurity and privacy policies and has regularly provided compliance training for corporate clients.
Rob is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association and the Michigan Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He has carried Martindale-Hubbell’s “AV Preeminent” rating for 15 plus consecutive years, and been named a Michigan Super Lawyer in the Civil Litigation Defense Section and to The Best Lawyers in America in the Mass Tort Litigation Section.
He enjoys all sorts of DIY projects, from small fix-it projects to full-scale home renovations. These DIY projects extend outside the home as well to one of his favorite hobbies – restoring classic cars. A “hot-rodder” at heart, his current project is restoring a 1966 candy-apple red Mustang coupe.
Rob also enjoys health and fitness activities and spends summers boating on Lake St. Clair, MI.
